Guest Speaker: Larry Webb

William Larry Webb, age 64 has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October of 1984 of Athens Regional Medical Center, Inc. and Athens Regional Health Services, Inc. Since October 2001, he has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the health system and Senior Vice President and Treasurer of ARMC. Mr. Webb received an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1970, and a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1969. From 1982 to 1984, he served as Director of Financial Control for the Griffin Corporation and its subsidiaries, an agriculture business which manufacturers and distributes pesticides nationally and internationally. From 1973 to 1982, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Director of South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia. From 1971 to 1973, he served as Manager of Systems and Data Processing at Candler General Hospital, Savannah, Georgia. From 1969 to 1971, he served as a Management Consultant for the Center for Systems Analysis and Design, University System of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. Mr. Webb received his Fellowship in Healthcare Financial Management Association in 1979. He has also received the Follmer, Reeves, Muncie Awards and the Medal of Honor. He has served on various committees and councils of the Georgia Hospital Association, Georgia Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management, South Georgia Health Consortium, Health Southeast, Inc., GA CFO Networking Group, and VHA of Georgia. Mr. Webb currently serves as an alumni board member of the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. Mr. Webb also serves as the Corporate Chief Financial Officer and Secretary/Treasurer for Athens Regional Health Services, Inc., Athens Area Health Plan Select, Inc. and Athens Regional Physician Services, Inc. and other Athens Regional affiliated companies. Mr. Webb serves as a Trustee for Athens First United Methodist Church.
